This spring (March) white tea is harvested in Colombia, in the western Andes (at an altitude of between 1800 and 2000m). The unique soil and climate give it a distinctive flavour that is enhanced by a special treatment involving 60 hours of withering followed by 6 hours of drying at 60°. This grand cru will give you a smooth liqueur, with predominantly woody notes (liquorice - nutmeg), slightly fruity (apricot), and a lovely milky consistency. Infusion time: 5 minutes.  Water at 85°, 2 teaspoons per cup. T2 BE-BIO-01 Certisys. From non-EU organic farming.
