Tai Ping Hou Kui is a rare green Chinese tea grand cru. Originating from the yellow mountain, in the province of Anhui and harvested in the spring, the "Monkey King" grows surrounded by wild orchids in a particularly wet and foggy climate that’s ideal for its young shoots. The large flat leaves will produce a sweet cup with discreet vegetal notes (buttery spinach) subtly floral (white flowers) and no bitterness.

Brewing instructions: 2½ minutes.

2 teaspoons per cup (or to make it easier: one pinch). T3
