Fukujyu sencha is a green tea from Shizuoka in Japan. The distinctive flavour of this highly iodised tea is due to its steaming method. This full-bodied, late-harvest sencha develops strong, bitter, iodised plant flavours (seaweed and spinach). It is a pleasant accompaniment to meals and is best brewed at a lower temperature of 85°, 1 teaspoon per cup. Steep for 2 minutes. T1
