Steamed bancha green tea dried in the sun then roasted – a regional speciality of Kyoto in Japan. This unique production produces a velvety, vegetal and woody liquor, with a discreet presence of maritime notes that transform into a distinctly more fruity finish (juicy pears), all accompanied by an elegant smokiness. Its large leaves are very fragile. Make sure you adapt the amount used at the end of the sachet, or weigh it. (The second infusion is less complex but sweeter.) Low in caffeine.
