Matcha Ai is a green shade tea from Japan. It is a group of harvests from the prefectures of Aichi, Kagoshima and Mie, consisting of summer and spring harvests in order to retain constant aromas. The intensely vegetal/marine flavours make it an excellent choice for learning to prepare matcha or for use in cooking.

It is consumed as an emulsion and preparing it requires the use of a “chasen” (bamboo whisk).

Dosage: ½ level teaspoon for 40 ml. Water at 80°. 

BE-BIO-01 Certisys. Product of non-EU organic farming.
